Last night at about two A.M. I woke up with a migraine. It was aweful. My saint of a wife woke up and really took care of me (the Christian term would be ministered to me). I slept most of the day except for a 9:30 breakfast with friends from my church at the local IHOP. Still recovering from my migraine I decided that I would meet them. Collin and Carolyn were already there waiting for me. Collin was heading back to the UK today so I decided not to waste to much of our time together. It was only after sitting down that I realized I was sitting in IHOP on the day I was planning on restarting my diet. What was I to do?
Well, I looked at the menu and went with the meatlovers option, even though the pecan syrup pancakes were bidding me to partake. Soon our food arrived and we began to talk about their weekend. Colin came over from the UK for Carolyn’s birthday and to pop the question. We talked about their upcoming wedding already set for next year {he had just propossed on her birthday a few days before} and the conversation soon went to the topic of the fall and sin. We got there from talking about Terry Prachett’s view of the creation of the God concept. That’s where things got really interesting. I’ll try to pick this up in another post. If I don’t just ask me about it.
