About Me

I am a Christian that is very much in process. I am a husband of one. I am a father of two. I am a coffee snob. I am a hat snob. I am a blue jeans and dress shirts guy. I am a man far more blessed than I deserve.

Real Life

If real life is important how much time of our life is defined by what we do? Why does our blogging, twittering, social networks, sports, or entertainment overshadow what's important? Relationship with God and other is paramount. Clear the static.

Thoughts to Come

November 27th, 2009 § 0

Well I thought my son might be debuting but he didn’t. I am working on a blog post on humility. I enjoyed a eventful day watching my daughter and spending time with my wife as we tried to decipher when Asher is going to emerge. This morning contractions were getting regular. Then he decided not to come. I am not going to post anything new tonight except a link to a prior post on Ben Harper. I am linking to that post because after nearly 8 months after writing it people are finding it and commenting. Some recents thoughts in mind have been generated from those comments left. Ironically the latest comments come from a guy named Ben who used a fake gmail account. I posted his words anyway even though I don’t like it when people don’t put up real emails to help verify real people from spammers. Ben, if you read this email me. I would like to get to know you. I won’t sell your email for profit or give to anyone. Ben, if in the incredibly small chance you are the real Ben Harper then get me tickets to a show man and I’ll buy the first round of drinks of your choice after your show and we can discuss it as long as you want to. I enjoy Ben Harper’s music. Even if you aren’t Ben Harper, I hope your comment isn’t a drive by commenting. My comment to the mystery ben is here. Feel free to join and contribute to the conversation.
