*There are times I so badly want to hate. I wrote this to remind myself I’m called to a different standard. I wrote it so each line read from the top to bottom reminds us we must contrast love with hate. Hate never ultimately wins. When you read it from the bottom to the top it reminds us we must end in patience and at the heart of it all is that love never fails.

Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love envies not.
Love does not boast.
Love is not proud.
Love is not rude.
Love is not self-seeking.
Love is not easily angered.
Love keeps no records of wrong.
Love does not delight in evil.
Love does rejoice in truth.
Love protects.
Love trusts.
Love hopes.
Love perseveres.

Love never fails.

Hate always fails.
Hate gives up.
Hate doubts.
Hate hurts.
Hate despairs in the truth.
Hate delights in evil.
Hate keeps record of every wrong.
Hate is easily angered.
Hate is self-seeking.
Hate is rude.
Hate is proud.
Hate boasts.
Hate envies.
Hate is unkind.
Hate is inpatient.
