Sojourns with Jesus

I wanted to write every day for a year on this blog to connect with God and others. It hasn’t gone as well as I hoped.

My blog title at willadair.com is named after what I hope God is doing with my life. Sojourns with Jesus has always supposed to be about God and others. I don’t feel God much in my life. I am okay with that. Elijah didn’t feel God’s presence yet he was there in a still small voice. It isn’t suppose to be about the feeling, it is suppose to be about a God who will refresh you in relationship with him. It’s about him. I want to hear that voice so I’m going to rustle through the Bible for a while instead of blogging.

I also wrote this blog to connect with others but don’t really seem to be accomplishing that goal either. I am afraid I am just another voice that is little more than a tiny wave splashing in the ocean that is bloggerdom. I’m going to stop writing for a while. Maybe when I start again then I will have something worth saying and something people want to talk about and interact with.

So in the words of Truman Burbank “Good morning, and in case I don’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night.”

I admire that you are going to take time out from writing- many refuse to do that, determined that blogging for the sake of blogging is more important than “being still.”

But I will miss your posts.

You're still in my blog roll, and I look forward to hearing what God is doing in your life and teaching you.

I also enjoyed reading anytime I stopped by. Looking forward to your return (or more guest blogging over on my site *hint, hint*)
