Tanner,

I hope God has blessed you and your family. Feel free to call me Will. When I was 20 I had renounced beer as worldly and evil. It certainly can be. I've now lived for over a decade since I had that conviction. As my faith grew I no longer held to certain extra-biblical convictions. I've shared Christ and grace over a beer before and hopefully will again.

Yes, I like beer. I drink it seldom and pretty much always drink beer at a bar or restaurant as I do not usually have beer at my house. I want a non-believer to see a life transformed by the grace of Christ even if it is over a beer. My philosophy on beer is grounded in 1 Corinthians 10:31.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Martin Luther drank beer. Calvin drank beer. There is actually good odds that beer was drank throughout most of human history by saints and sinners alike. The prohibition on fermented drink has always been against drunkenness not against drinking. I came to my conviction over many years of thought and prayer. I do not though desire to push my convictions on any other. I hope you are blessed and grow grounded in your convictions as long as they are grounded in Christ. If you ever want to go out and catch up then I'll buy you and I a sweet tea. I have no intention of my freedom in Christ to cause you or another to stumble.

Blessings,
Will

Mr. Adair

It is good to see that you and Olivia are doing well. I know it has been several years but I must say I found your website through facebook and was impressed but at the same time i found myself looking over the things you "like". I know we all have different opinions on certian topics but i truly believe it hurts ones teatimony to see another believer who is consuming alchol in front of a non beleiver because I have seen it up front. Now with that said, I am 20 now and I am not saying when I turn 21 I will never have a drink but it will be in the privacy of my on home. I just believe thats not what you want a non believer to see espically in todays time when beer and alchol is seen as it is. So to have one of your "likes" as beer i believe it really hurts what you put on your site.
Thank you for your time
