poetry: specks in the universe

Once there was a universe,
made precise and neat,
along came a speck of stardust
that paradoxically could speak,
it claimed everything was cold and bleak!
Another bit of dust blew by,
this time daring us to fly,
let us take a leap and see
if holy or hollow ground is
beneath our ephemeral feet.

Which commandment have I broken?

Law

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
(James 2:8-13 ESV)

Gospel

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
(2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV)

repose

Repose: Temporary rest from activity, excitement, or exertion, esp. sleep or the rest given by sleep.

I think I will try that after a very bust and long but good week.

Random Thought

We have put child safety covers over our doors so our toddler can’t run out of the house. If the creators of Jurassic Park had put those on the doors then the velociraptors would never have been able to open those doors.
