I saw myself the other day
in a vision of tomorrow
but it faded away into memories of yesterday.

Poetry: Shadowlands

When the sun shall rise, the shadowed lands shall flee, as mountains tumble underneath the sea.

Until that day when the veil is torn away, the shadows shall rule the night, but only until the coming of the light.

A friday night without my wife.

It’s Friday night and my wife is away and this is the longest I was ever on Facebook. It’s time to go read a book. Either something theo-mo-logical or Game of Thrones. Come to think of it the last two sentences are proof that it is good thing that I am married.

Marriage & Civil Unions: A third way, part 1

Here’s a novel idea, why not get the government entirely out of our bedrooms? Get rid of marriage from the governmental sphere and let them see it as something that you privately do in Church/Synagogue/Mosque/Joey from Friends event. Let us create a third way that gets the government entirely out of our personal relationships especially marriage. Continue reading
